He founded the boutique-style wealth management firm in 2010 with former colleagues after noticing the banking sector’s shift away from the client-centered approach to wealth management.
In regard to investment activity, Jeff Sica primarily targets assets in the real economy. To that end, he launched Circle Squared Alternative Investments in 2014 to provide opportunities for individuals to invest in film and music, Broadway shows, venture capital, and real estate. These opportunities were traditionally only offered to larger, institutional investors before Mr. Sica founded Circle Squared.
Included on the 2020 NJBIZ Commercial Real Estate Power 50, Mr. Sica was recognized as one of the top 10 most powerful real estate leaders in New Jersey. Through Circle Squared, has spearheaded key projects in the state, including the 144-unit City Line West apartment complex in Jersey City and a 159-room full-service hotel in Montclair. He has also served on the Center for Real Estate of the Rutgers School of Business’ advisory board since 2016 and is a past chairman of the executive council of Daytop New Jersey. He has prior investment advisory experience at Wachovia/Wells Fargo Advisors and AG Edwards.
